It is unlawful to perform ablution with Nabidh (water in which dates or grapes etc, are soaked and is not yet fermented) or with any other intoxicant

وَكَرِهَهُ الْحَسَنُ وَأَبُو الْعَالِيَةِ. وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ التَّيَمُّمُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ بِالنَّبِيذِ وَاللَّبَنِ.Hasan and Abul-‘Aliya disliked it. ‘Ata’ said: I prefer to do Tayammum instead of doing ablution with milk or Nabidh. ​​
