9/18. Chapter:

The time of the Maghrib prayer (evening prayer)

وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ يَجْمَعُ الْمَرِيضُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ.‘Ata' said: "A person who is sick can offer Maghrib and Isha' prayers together."

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 562

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعًا جَمِيعًا وَثَمَانِيًا جَمِيعًا‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed seven rak`at together and eight rak`at together.
