9/18. Chapter:

The time of the Maghrib prayer (evening prayer)

وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ يَجْمَعُ الْمَرِيضُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ.‘Ata' said: "A person who is sick can offer Maghrib and Isha' prayers together."

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 561

حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ‏.‏

Narrated Salama: We used to pray the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) when the sun disappeared from the horizon.
