Al-Lu'lu Wal-Marjan 1227 — The Book of Al-Imâra (Concerning with ruling etc.)
There is goodness in the forelocks of the horses till the Day of Resurrection.

حديث عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، قَالَ: الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، الأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ.
'Urwa Al-Bâriqî Narrated from:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Good will remain (as a permanent quality) in the forelocks of horses (for Jihâd) till the Day of Resurrection, for they bring about a reward (in the Hereafter) and booty (in this world)." ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 104, Vol. 4)
