Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4801
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " مَرَرْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي بقومٍ تُقْرَضُ شفاهُهم بمقاريض النَّارِ فَقُلْتُ: يَا جِبْرِيلُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ خُطَبَاءُ أُمَّتِكَ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
Anas Narrated from:
Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, 'On the night of isra (my journey to the heavens), passed by people whose lips were being cut by scissors of fire. I asked, 'O Jibril, who are they?' He said, 'They are the sermonizers of your ummah who preached what they did not practice.' [3]
