Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "If two men loved one another for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Glorious, one of them being in the East and the other in the west, surely Allah would bring them together on the day of resurrection, and say, 'This is he whom you loved for my sake.'"
