Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضى الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Shun suspicion, for suspicion is the worst kind of false conversation. Do not pry into affairs of others. Do not spy on each other. Do not bid against each other to raise the price. Do not be jealous each other. Do not despise each other. Do not backbite each other. Live as slaves of Allah and brothers of each other." According to a version: (He said) "Do not be greedy." [2]
