حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ مَا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَدٌ عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ لِي " أَىْ بُنَىَّ وَمَا يُنْصِبُكَ مِنْهُ إِنَّهُ لَنْ يَضُرَّكَ " . قَالَ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ مَعَهُ أَنْهَارَ الْمَاءِ وَجِبَالَ الْخُبْزِ . قَالَ " هُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah Narrated from:
None else had asked more questions from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about the Dajjal than I, but he simply said in a slight mood): O, my son, why are you worried because of him? He will not harm you. I said: The people think that he would have with him rivers of water and mountains of bread, whereupon he said: He would be more insignificant in the sight of Allah than all these things (belonging to him).

This Dajjal hadith gives a calm and clear message about fear, faith, and trust in Allah. Mughira b. Shu'ba says that he asked Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) many questions about the Dajjal. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) answered him gently and asked why he was so worried, saying that Dajjal would not harm him. Mughira then mentioned what people were saying: that Dajjal would have rivers of water and mountains of bread. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did not deny that people spoke of these things, but he made the main point clear: Dajjal is more insignificant in the sight of Allah than those displays. The key lesson is not to be dazzled by outward power, food, water, or frightening talk. The believer should remember Allah’s greatness above all false claims.
