Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 4357
This hadith records a question about killing locusts and an answer based on lived experience. Abu Ya‘fur asked ‘Abdullah bin Abi Awfa about the matter. He replied that he had joined six campaigns with the Messenger of Allah and that they ate locusts. The answer points to the companions’ actual practice in the Prophet’s company. For people searching about locusts in Islam, locust meat, or whether eating locusts is permissible, this narration is brief and direct. It does not give a detailed legal discussion or explain every possible case involving locusts. It simply connects the question with six campaigns in which locusts were eaten. That clear fact should remain the center of the explanation without adding claims not found in the text.

- Abu Ya‘fur asked ‘Abdullah bin Abi Awfa about locusts.
