Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5487
This Hadith gives a dua for protection from being overwhelmed by debt, overpowered by the enemy, and seeing enemies rejoice at one’s misfortune. The wording is direct and real. Debt can feel heavy, defeat can feel frightening, and the joy of enemies at a person’s hardship can add pain. The Prophet SAW used to ask Allah for refuge from these matters. The Hadith does not say that a person should ignore effort or responsibility; it simply records this supplication. For someone searching for a dua for debt or a dua against enemies, this narration gives a clear phrase to use. It teaches that financial pressure, outside pressure, and public shame are all matters a believer may place before Allah.
What we learn from this hadith
