Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 192
This Hadith gives a counted form of the Adhan and Iqamah. Abu Mahdhurah narrated that the Prophet taught him the Adhan with nineteen phrases and the Iqamah with seventeen phrases. This makes it a clear match for searches like Adhan 19 words Hadith, Iqamah 17 phrases, and Abu Mahdhurah Adhan. The report does not list every phrase in the translation provided, but it gives the count and says the Prophet taught it to him. The added note says the Hadith is hasan sahih and identifies Abu Mahdhurah by name. The core lesson is that the Adhan and Iqamah have taught forms, not random wording that each caller invents.
