Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2912
This Hadith is very short, but its meaning is strong. Jubair bin Nufair narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that people will not return to Allah with anything more virtuous than what came from Him. The narration then explains: meaning the Qur'an. The wording points to the value of Allah's Book as a path of worship and nearness to Him. It does not give a long list of actions. It simply directs attention to the Qur'an as something that came from Allah and is a great means for returning to Him. This is why it connects well with searches like hadith about Qur'an and nearness to Allah or best way to draw close to Allah through Qur'an.
