Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4686
وَعَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَلَقَّى جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَالْتَزَمَهُ وقبَّلَ مابين عَيْنَيْهِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ» مُرْسَلًا وَفِي بَعْضِ نُسَخِ «الْمَصَابِيحِ» وَفِي «شرح السّنة» عَن البياضي مُتَّصِلا
Ash-Sha'bi Narrated from:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم met (Sayyiduna) Ja'far ibn Abu Talib رضي الله عنه and embraced him and kissed his forehead. [1]
