Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4904
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ نَصَرَ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ فَهُوَ كَالْبَعِيرِ الَّذِي رَدَى فَهُوَ يُنزَعُ بذنَبِه» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Ibn Mas'ud Narrated from:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "He who supports his people in an unjust cause is like a camel that falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail." [1]
