Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3753
This Hadith answers the question of who owns a lifelong gift in Islam. The Messenger of Allah says that whoever is given something as an 'Umra, it belongs to him. The wording is short, clear, and centered on the recipient. It does not describe shared ownership with the giver or a right that ends at death. It simply says that the gifted thing belongs to the person who received it. Because the narration does not mention descendants, inheritance, or conditions, those details should not be inserted into this explanation. The practical message is to recognize the ownership created by the gift described in the text. This Hadith is especially useful for readers searching for a simple Umra gift ruling or a Prophetic statement about the recipient's right to gifted property.
What we learn from this hadith
- The lifelong gift belongs to its recipient.
- The recipient's ownership is stated in direct words.
- The explanation should remain within the brief scope of the narration.
