Prophetic Teachings and Etiquette of Gathering in Islam
According to Islamic scholars, the Prophet Muhammad provided clear guidelines regarding public gatherings and community spacing to ensure mutual respect and social harmony. In these authentic narratives, the Prophet explicitly advises against forcing someone to stand up just to take over their seat, emphasizing that people should instead make room and accommodate newcomers comfortably. Furthermore, if individuals find it necessary to sit by public roads or pathways, they must strictly uphold the rights of the road. These fundamental rights include lowering one's gaze, avoiding any harm to passersby, returning greetings of peace, encouraging righteous actions, and forbidding evil deeds. Together, these teachings form a practical guide for maintaining safety, consideration, and proper Islamic manners within any social setting.
